REVIEW: Cyne - Pretty Dark Things

9 out of 10

"Pretty Dark Things" is Cyne's third full length album...I'm gonna get straight to the point with this review, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST (if not THE Best) HIP-HOP ALBUMS I'VE EVER HEARD (yeah, ALL caps).

Cyne (Cultivating Your New Experience) have many influences when it comes to their AMAZING sampling/production skills. You will definitely hear "late-night Jazz" influences, you will also hear; spacey/out there sound effects, IDM beats mixed with old school Hip-Hop attributes, down-South dirrrty vocals, intelligent (but not over the top) lyrics relevant for anybody alive today, and that catchy element you look for in every great Hip-Hop/Rap album that makes you bobb your head till your neck hurts or your even till your head falls off (yeah, that happens).

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, had I got to this album when it came out last year it would've surely cracked the top 20 of 08. If you enjoy Hip-Hop, take my challenge: ..Buy the album, you don't like it? I'll buy it from you.

Standout Tracks: ALL, but ESPECIALLY ..ALL OF THEM.
