Audion Live 2009/NEW Limited release..

Audion takes to the road with his first live audio/visual show, "Hecatomb" (meaning "a large-scale sacrifice or slaughter"). He's making his surprise debut in Barcelona at Club4’s annual off-Sonar event, and materializing again the following week at Berghain (Berlin) as part of Ghostly's 10th-anniversary series.

The visuals are art directed by longtime collaborator, Will Calcutt, the visual work is inspired by the influential and dazzling optical art that has graced the Audion covers for the last 7 years. Also in collaboration is Berlin-based Eno Henze, a fine artist whose installations with light, lasers and projections have graced international galleries and Andreas Fischer, an artist exploring Data Visualization in both the digital and sculptural realms. The live show will be featured in Audion's European tour throughout the summer.

As for the newest release..

The first vinyl installment, "It's Full Of Blinding Light", featuring three new tracks, is out now on limited white label at The Ghostly Store and at Ghostly's new pop-up shop at Rotation Records in Berlin. Official release date to be announced soon. Get yours before they're gone.

A smoldering wedge of a track that pushes slowly, insistently into the innermost corners of the psyche. With a spiraling synth line and eerie children's voices, Audion pulls out his best hypnotist tricks.

The third installment of the Audion digital-singles series, "Stoplight", will be released next month.
